Scenes from Louisville, KY
St. James Catholic Church, Louisville
Designed by James J. Gaffney, 1913
This guy reminded me of some photos I took in Louisville when I was there in May for a wedding. The ceremony was at a church that had an ACTUAL EYE as the oculus. I was frickin’ terrified that:
a.) I was going to burst into flames if I walked into a house of God. NB4R, I got the sweats.
b.) I had to read a passage from the Bible in front of everyone.
c.) God was literally and figuratively was looking down on me.
I miss Rio real bad.
Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. (Click through for the larger version.)
PS - I’ll make do if someone takes me to a pool, makes me a caipirinha and plays some João Gilberto. Here’s a golden #boyfriend status opportunity, guise.
Versailles, Los Angeles
If you’re ever in Southern California, check this Cuban restaurant out. The food is BEAST.
Preparing for Sunset, Venice Beach
The beaches are so deep and long in Venice Beach. The horizon line seemed so high when we started walking towards the water.
Glass, Venice Beach
Jumping on, jumping on broken glass…
Bikes, Venice Beach
I kind of miss California right now. Yeah, Venice Beach is kind of obnoxious but the light out there is f*cking amazing.
“Hyères, France, 1932″ - Henri Cartier-Bresson
Another photog in my top 10.
This reminds me that I need to get my whip back in shape.
